Global Real Estate: Local Markets
This session will be held prior to the main Sales Convention

International real estate opportunities are everywhere. Global investors and foreign born buyers continue to view the United States as the most stable and secure destination for real estate investment, and U.S. residents wishing to invest or retire in foreign markets is increasing. No matter which international audience you cater to, the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation will provide you with the knowledge, research, network and tools to globalize your business.

In this introductory course, you’ll gain in-depth knowledge of the international real estate business environment, including capital flow, currencies, government regulations and culture. Topics such as international brokerage, networking, prospecting “Glocally” and selling will also be discussed.

Global Real Estate: Local Markets is the prerequisite course to earning the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation. You MUST take this course before any other CIPS courses. Upon completion of this course, you will receive core credit towards the CIPS designation (applies to U.S. and non-U.S. members) and elective credit towards the ABR and CRS designation (applies to U.S. members only.)
